Are you available for my wedding date?

We have limited availability, and only take a certain number of weddings each year, so we have our brides fill out an initial wedding questionnaire to help us determine if our studio would be a good match for their style, budget, and priorities.  We have a very unique style, and offer specific products, so we are selective in choosing brides who put a premium on those things.

How much do you charge?

To our brides, photography is one of the highest priority over everything else about their wedding day.  Everything from your wedding will be gone in one day.  This is what will last.  Our brides typically spend between $2,000 and $6,000 on our all-inclusive wedding services, including engagement, bridal, bride and groom portraits and wedding coverage.

What is a first look? Should we do one?

Many couples now are choosing to throw tradition to the wind and see each other before the wedding.  Instead of just a casual meet & greet, we make it something you’ll remember for the rest of your lives.  That private, intimate moment when you see each other for the first time on your wedding day should be captured just as beautifully as the rest of your wedding.  We stand back, capture the emotion, and let you two have your moment.  If you aren’t opposed to breaking tradition, we highly recommend a first look.  It saves a tremendous amount of time after the ceremony so you can quickly get to your reception. (Plus there’s more time for creative photographs.)

How many photos will I receive?

Our couples typically receive anywhere from 400 to 800 (or more) images from their wedding day, depending on the depth and scale of your wedding.

Do you do destination weddings?

We love destination weddings!

How do I reserve my date?

Due to limited availability, we cannot reserve a date without a $1000, non-refundable retainer.

What should I wear for my engagement shoot?

We actually provide professional hair and makeup for our engagement shoots!  Our salon works with us for all our sessions, so they know what looks best on camera.  We also give you tips on what to wear, so there are no worries! Check out this article too.

What do your packages include?

We are all-inclusive in all of our collections.  Even the basic collection includes the engagement session with professional hair and makeup, plenty of wedding coverage, and your images on a keepsake USB drive in a cushioned display box.

Do you work with payment plans?

We cannot reserve a date without a $1000 non-refundable retainer, but after that, we can work with you with a few options.

Are you a member of the PPA?

This is such an important question to ask any photographers you’re considering.  We are a member of Professional Photographers of America, meaning we are nationally and officially recognized as professional photographers.  We were also featured on the Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Shutter Magazine, WeddingStar Online, Snapknot, and Red Dirt Bride just to name a few.

How long does it take to receive my images?  What about my album?

We strive to have to best customer service and fastest delivery time possible.  Our turnaround time is 5-7 days for engagements, and 5-7 days for weddings.  This means that you will be able to come into our studio and view your finished pictures, choose your favorites, and purchase products within those time frames.  After you’ve made purchases, it takes two to three weeks to receive prints and canvases, and up to six weeks to receive your album.

Why is your style so different?

We believe in creating breathtaking artwork versus simple snapshots of your wedding day.  You don’t just want to remember what your wedding looked like.  You want to remember how it felt.  We capture those feelings and emotions for you to cherish forever. We are a mixture between candids, documentary and artistic portraiture.

Why are your albums so different?

We’ve had brides tell us that if their house caught on fire, the first thing they would grab (after their kids and husband, of course!) is their wedding album.  Some of them even have their grandparents’ wedding albums that have been passed down, and those are some of their most cherished possessions.  We get that.  Our albums are custom-made to fit the style of your wedding.  We have several leather and non-leather options to choose from, and we work with you to create the album of your dreams.  Our albums are museum-quality, and sprayed for protection from oils, spills, and fingerprints.  They are made to last and be passed down from generation to generation.

Do you have a second photographer?

Yes, of course.  Plus an assistant for gear and lighting.

How far in advanced do I need to book with you?

We typically book weddings 10-12 months in advance.

Can I see a wedding you photographed, other than portfolio images?

Yes, of course. They are posted throughout the blog.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We use all professional grade camera, lenses, and lights.  We actually go a step further and bring portable studio lighting gear to create the artistic photographs.
