Oklahoma is host to some of the most amazing wedding venues. Whether it be a hotel, event center, public facility or outdoor garden, Oklahoma City and the greater metro area truly has some incredible places to host your wedding. Hi, I’m Josh Fisher and I’m a wedding photographer in Oklahoma City. After photographing over 100 weddings and almost just as many venues, these are the best places to get married in Oklahoma. At least from my perspective 🙂
Before I jump in with my list I want to address the factors that went into putting together this list. This isn’t necessarily a list of venues that make for the best locations for wedding pictures. I took into account the event staff, on-site coordinators, parking, guest comfort and other options as well. If you’re looking for a place to getting married in OKC, then this just might be a good starting point. Let’s dive into the best wedding locations in Oklahoma.
Best Places to Get Married in Oklahoma
The Manor at Coffee Creek
The Manor at Coffee Creek is hosted on a gorgeous property in Edmond, OK. It’s a colonial mansion on several acres of fields. They have a beautiful barn that makes for the perfect reception hall. Tammie and the event staff are great to work with. They attend numerous wedding event conferences around the country to bring you the best possible service here in Oklahoma.
Rose Creek Golf and Country Club
Rose Creek Golf and Country Club is open to the public for weddings! They are one of the few country clubs that allow non-members to host their wedding at the club and course. Rose Creek is one of the premier country clubs in the state. Your wedding can be hosted inside, on the pergola, or on hole 18 on the course. Rose Creek is always perfectly manicured and makes for incredibly photography. Angel and the event staff are wonderful people and always do top-notch work. For a country club, this is the one best places to get married in Oklahoma.
Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel
The Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel is INCREDIBLE! Everything from the lobby to the event rooms are stand-out! Your wedding guests will without-a-doubt fall in love with your wedding at The Sheraton Hotel. Jenny is a wonderful and fun person to work with at The Sheraton. She’s truly one of the best in the business. It’s no wonder she’s at the Sheraton.
Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City Hotel
Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City Hotel is another favorite hotel for weddings! The hotel is located in Nichols Hills. The Waterford has been renovated in recent years and truly is luxurious. From the lobby, hotel rooms, ceremony and reception hall, and even the courtyard, your guests will love the look and feel of The Waterford.
The Magnolia Room
I’m a little bias on The Magnolia Room because it’s connected to my studio 🙂 However, the space is unique. There’s nothing else like it in the city. The Magnolia is located in the heart of Automobile Alley in Downtown Oklahoma City. Having this location opens up to amazing opportunities for photography around the Downtown OKC area.
The Caliber is also located in Automobile Alley in Downtown Oklahoma City. Just one block north of the Magnolia. The Caliber is a museum and one of the only places to host a luxurious wedding in Oklahoma City. All the vendors that help put together a Caliber wedding are some of the best in the business – which is why I love The Caliber. You’ll love it.
The Oklahoma City Zoo
Not many people know you can get married at the Oklahoma City Zoo! Crazy right? But it actually makes for some incredibly wedding photography. The landscape is hard to beat. Just check out the image above 🙂
Tucked away on Highway 9 in Norman Oklahoma sits a small wedding chapel that makes for some amazing wedding photography. The chapel and landscape are unique. It’s perfect for hosting a smaller wedding.
Dominion House Weddings
The Dominion House is located in Guthrie and was built in 1923. It was renovated in 2000 and is just incredible! They have a garden or chapel for your ceremony. And best of all is the grand reception hall. Talk about incredible! You’ll be in awe at the Dominion House.
Southwind Hills is located in Goldsby, OK. They have a barn and chapel and both are unique and incredible. The designers and event staff are some of the best in Oklahoma. Not only does the chapel or barn make for great wedding photography but the property it sits on is just as incredible.
